Hello, I'm Liza.
I am a Newborn, Baby, and Family Photographer in Sarasota, Florida.
Since before I can remember, I've always loved the arts- music, watercolors, theater, dance. After my first baby was born more than a decade ago, photography took center stage in my heart. I never wanted to forget those beautiful details- the tiny fingernails, the eyelashes, the gummy smile. As my family has grown, those photos and memories have become even more precious to me. I want you to have those portraits of your babies, too.
A good photograph distills and simplifies- it celebrates and preserves the most precious parts.
I hold a Master's Degree in Special Education, and my background as an elementary school teacher helped me to develop a level of calm, peaceful patience that's needed when working with sweet newborn babes.
As a proud mother to three beautiful children of my own, you can feel comfortable trusting your most precious one in my gentle and experienced arms.
My photography style is clean and timeless, with true-to-life colors and simple, classic compositions.
My home is decorated with many beautiful portraits of my own family. These frames, albums, and keepsake boxes contain my most precious memories, and they bring me joy every day. I love decorating for the seasons, and my favorite part of that is moving my favorite pictures around, switching out what I display and remembering favorite family moments.
