Tellico Plains Family Session
This sweet family has been coming to me since their first son, Luke, was born. Now we are celebrating their second son Gabe's sitter session! Mama wanted us to meet at Gabe's great-GREAT-grandmother's home in Tellico Plains, TN. The family owns a huge swath of the countryside there, and it's been home to generations of their family.

The family home is nestled in rolling hills of Tennessee, protected from winter winds and summer sun by the gorgeous, mature trees that surround it. A gravel drive winds its way up from the street to the house, welcoming visitors. The home made the perfect backdrop for these family photos, becoming almost its own person, possessing its own identity, and representing those family members who have passed or couldn't be with us that day.

Inside, baby Gabe was held by Granny. His chubby baby feet, caressed by loving hands.

Four generations, gathered together on their ancestral lands. Look at Gabe- a laughing baby starfish on his grandfather's lap.

With granddad & daddy in front of the house.

Portrait of a young family- each parent playing with a child, standing together, even when they are apart.

Children, grandchildren, great grandchildren- scenes of love.

Chubby baby toes on the lawn where his father and grandfather played as children.

sweet baby boy with the big blue eyes, like mirrors reflecting the blue sky above him. Big brother, laughing and running to and from all his people.

Thank you for a beautiful evening, Grubbs family!
